Travelers flying Allegiant from Punta Gorda can skip the online “carrier usage” fee—about $22 per person, per flight segment—by purchasing tickets in person at the airport counter.
The ticket window is only open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., so arriving early helps beat the lines.
Bring a valid photo ID and your preferred flight details, then request to buy at the counter to avoid extra online charges.

Port Charlotte moved to 3–0 with a commanding 49–13 triumph over Lehigh at Harbor Nissan Stadium Friday night.
Quarterback Logan Flaherty sparked the Pirates offense, throwing four touchdown passes and connecting with Eli Pearl, Dallas Lambert, and Mikael Santa for scores.
Bruce Blanden paced the ground game, rushing for 172 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
Special teams set the tone as a blocked punt led to the first score, and Pearl’s electrifying 86-yard kickoff return erased Lehigh’s momentum in the second half.
Port Charlotte’s defense clamped down, securing multiple red-zone stops—including a clutch goal-line stand—while limiting Lehigh in crucial moments for a 28–7 halftime cushion.

The Planning and Zoning Board approved three land-use changes on April 14, 2025, updating the Harborview DRI Development Order amendments.
While these revisions are largely procedural and technical, they may indirectly support future commercial projects in the area.
The amendments modernize Harborview DRI’s legal and environmental guidelines, allowing for updates like improved signage and new traffic solutions.
