About

Dr. Ghuman completed his retina and vitreous medical and surgical training at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. He joined Dr. Walker, Dr. Wing, and Dr. Raskauskas at Retina Consultants of Southwest Florida in 2000. He has been the principal investigator in dozens of pivotal clinical trials that have led to FDA approval of new therapies to fight retina or vitreous diseases. He is currently the principal investigator for multiple National Health Institute/National Eye Institute studies. He has served as an instructor at University of Texas Medical Branch and West Virginia University and has served as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Scientist for the Schepens Eye Research Institute affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston.
